In this 6-week FALL 2025 Kids’ (In-Person) Writing Workshop, we will explore a DIFFERENT AUTHOR/BOOK EACH WEEK as we ‘FALL INTO WRITING’. Each week inspires writing through playful, themed writing lessons. In these lessons, we read from a mentor text (a popular children’s book) and then write from Fearless Dragon Writers’ Original Writing Worksheets where children find playful prompts to support that day’s Writing Concept! Writing Concepts demonstrate ways to strengthen and improve writing. Children are inspired to WRITE THEIR OWN CREATIVE STORIES! Lastly, we SHARE our STORIES in a SUPPORTIVE SETTING and PLAY WRITING GAMES—all while learning and laughing together. These are truly unique writing classes built around inspiring all types of writers—reluctant writers included!
This SECTION MEETS ON THURSDAYS from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. — IN-PERSON (in Fanwood, New Jersey, My Home Studio) for 6 weeks from Oct. 9 – Nov. 20*. All writers (ages 8 – 13) are welcome!
*We skip Nov. 6 due to the Teachers’ Convention day off.
