"Putting Your Imagination on Paper": Fall 2024 (In-Person) Kids' Writing Workshop -- WEDNESDAYS
In this 6-week FALL 2024 Kids’ (In-Person) Writing Workshop, we will explore a DIFFERENT AUTHOR/BOOK EACH WEEK as we write by ‘PUTTING OUR IMAGINATION ON PAPER’ – (a phrase I love and heard from Jarrett J. Krosoczka—the Lunch Lady series author/illustrator). Each week we inspire writing through playful, themed writing lessons. In these lessons, we read from a mentor text (a popular children’s book) and then write from Fearless Dragon Writers’ Original Writing Worksheets where children find playful prompts to support that day’s Writing Concept! Children are inspired to WRITE THEIR OWN CREATIVE STORIES! Lastly, we SHARE our STORIES in a SUPPORTIVE SETTING and PLAY WRITING GAMES—all while learning and laughing together. These are truly unique writing classes!

This SECTION MEETS ON WEDNESDAYS from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. — IN-PERSON (in Fanwood, New Jersey, My Home Studio) for 6 weeks from Oct. 9 – Nov. 13. All writers (ages 8 – 13) are welcome—Reluctant Writers Included!
