In this 6-week Kids’ Writing Workshop, we will explore a DIFFERENT AUTHOR/BOOK EACH WEEK as we grow in our ability to “See Ourselves as Writers” -- gathering confidence week-by-week to WRITE OUR OWN CREATIVE STORIES from FUN PROMPTS! We will SHARE our STORIES in a SUPPORTIVE SETTING and PLAY WRITING GAMES—all while building the confidence to write productively and creatively.
This SECTION MEETS ON SUNDAYS from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. — IN-PERSON (in Fanwood, New Jersey) from Feb. 25 – April 7*. (*We skip March 31.) All writers ages 8 - 13 are welcome—Reluctant Writers Included!
